My daughter booked Air Europa ticket which is from New York JFK to Madrid, spain on Sept. 9th 2011 and return on Sept. 18th. Since she don't have luggage to check in, according to the instruction on boarding pass, she printed boarding pass at home and go to the gate directly and waiting there for 1.5 hour. When she get to check in to boarding, she was rejected by airline staff. They said her "boarding pass is invalid, you should check in at front desk." no matter what my daughter say, they just don't let her boarding. And they only have couple staff there. After airplane departure, there is no body you can talk to. So my daughter has to by another ticket for next day with Americn Airlin to continue her trip which cost her $1200 and her hotel was wasted too.
We feel really unfair. We bought ticket and followed their instruction. And they just change the rule and make us a victim. We called them many times. They just ignore us.
I do not understand in U.S.A. A very lawful country, can let this kind of unfair thing happen. We really need some one can stands out for us. Please speak out for us. We are so helpless.
