They advertise that they gaurantee a truck will be available on time. Today my husband drove four hours south of where we live to pick up the Penske truck at Home Depot. He gets up at 3 to get ready and drive up to pick it up at 9. It was not there. There were other people there having the same issue. So, I call corporate to complain about it. They said they could not do anything about it and to call the district manager Brian.

I called Brian and he acted like I was inconviniencing him because he was driving up to Riveria to pick up the truck. UMmmm? Nobody told us. I told him that nobody informed us he was getting the truck and we rented a UHaul truck which was 140 dollars more. He seemed annoyed that he had to go pick up the truck for us. He said he couldn't compensate us the difference to call corporate.

Seriously? This was the most annoying experience. I call corporate and speak to a Beth. The call gets dropped (which was bad reception in my house) I call back to speak to this "Beth" and they said there was no Beth there. They put me on hold and I waited and waited and then I hung up and had to tell the story over again. I went through a few different people. One told me I would have to wait until Monday to speak to Brian. UM, I already spoke to Brian and apparently he was going to get this truck.

So, I finally talk to someone who was understanding but couldn't do anything for me and gave me their legal department address.

This is false advertisement. You are not number one as a customer. They do not treat you with this great customer support. They do NOT gaurantee the truck is there or on time. Gaurantee to me means if it is not there they eat the cost. I am so mad.
