On 10/13 I contacted Verizon to cancel my land line. I was persuaded by the operator to try a plan called Regional Value for $9.99 per month and I agreed. Today I recieved my 1st bill and the cost was $31.19. I called Verizon and informed them I felt I was lied to and wanted to cancel my account and did not believe I should pay triple of what I agreed to in the previos month. The operator kept trying to talk over me to justify her position. I insisted on speaking to her manager to which she finally agreed to do. I waited on the line for 45 minutes before the battery on my phone died and had yet to recieve a response from her manager.
The customer service for this company is atrocious
