Asset Acceptance has twice asked me to settle an outstanding debt which I do not have with them. On the first occasion I called them to ask what was going on and the operative ended up by angrily hanging up on me. This is a huge scam and I suspect the company targets the elderly who, like myself, will be thoroughly confused when told they can settle their debt ($1036.49) if they pay NOW ($310.95)

I've tried to report this to consumer agencies but have had no response.
