Kept getting emails from Microsoft saying that I had only a few days left to verify my email address and password or else they would cancel my account. I Googled Microsoft and got a freephone number which I called. The chap was in Mombai India. I told him about the emails and he asked to see them. He accessed my computer and made changes - he gave my password etc to the email that I was questioning and complaining about. He then charged me £115.08 for the programme he said he downloaded onto my computer, he was on my computer the same time as me and saw my credit card details. I went straight to the bank and had my card cancelled and they will be stopping this payment and looking into the matter. I found this incident scary - only time will tell if this was fraud. I will never do anything like this again.
