Complaint:

When I moved into my building in March of I was told by Comcast that my building did not have basic cable that was paid by the HOA. So I ordered the service and paid for the cable service of $49.99 a month plus taxes for 36 months. I later find out that I am in a bulk account and the basic service has been paid by me and the HOA for the past 36 months. I explained this 14 times to Comcast employees via phone, Emails and chat, I do have dates, times and the cell phone records to confirm this. I was told a supervisor would have to handle the full refund. It takes approximately 20 mins a phone call after being on hold and transferred 2-4 times a call only to be told I would receive a call back by a supervisor. I was offered a $950.00 max refund by an associate for Comcast double charging the account for 36 months. This totals $1,799.64 plus tax of at least $107.04 totaling 1,907.61. This was Comcasts error that should have been caught in the first month or two. They claim this is the best they can offer as I am on a bulk
acct and the service is higher which is not relevant as they received
payment in full by me and my HOA for the same exact service. Now they say I am only to receive a fraction of the full refund. And I am lucky to receive that as they only refund upto 30 days back. This is a perfect example of multi million dollar companies trying to rip off and steal from consumers hoping they will back down and accept the bullying. I am not late with payments but if a customer is late, they will cancel their service and charge a activation fee and interest to open the acct. Back up, but when they legitimately owe someone they try all kinds of scams to rip them off.
