UPS slowest shipping

One after another late deliveries. Every time I have a package that is being delivered on a Friday it gets rescheduled to Monday. HOW CAN THIS HAPPEN OVER AND OVER AGAIN? Drag out a dilivery usps has to my house if 3 days. UPS takes 8 because of the weekend add on. On top of that I have had 4 orders this year get left on the dock, even though it said they were on the truck every time. This cost me 4 vacation days. After reading all the same complaints going back several years, I guess this is just normal for UPS. So if you want the slowest way pick UPS...
