When the telemarketer calls, he offers a $200.00 gas rebate for looking over their offers through the website. The original charge is $2.95 and he explains to you that you have 30 days to review their offer and you can then cancel within the 30 days if you decide it is not what you want. Not once did he mention that you would be signing up to a subscription to a bunch of magazines and that you had 7 days to cancel it or you would be charged a one time fee of $25. Oo and another fee of $39.95 for the first year of service.

Well, it took 7 or 8 days for my packet to arrive and it was only then that I found out about the 2 charges. I immediately call the company to cancel my 30 day review period in which they did, but they charged me anyway for the Two amounts I listed above. I called them back to find out why they did not cancel my 30 day review and they told me that they had but that I did not call in the 7 days to cancel the magazines which had not been explained to me over the phone in the initial conversation. I had a magazine co. To try and charge me twice for a subscription before and told the girl that if he had of mentioned magazines to me, I would have hung up on him to begin with. Imagine if they pulled this scam on 1 million people, That would be 65,000, 000 dollars just in a day or two of work for them.
