Family Readers
I tried to cancel my account with them but was told that I owe them almost $1000

Miscellaneous

When I first subscriped to their service I was told that I can cancel my subscription at any time. So when I called them to cancel I was told that I owe them almost $1000 but that they could settle the account with me paying them about $300. I did not see to pay them money to cancel my subscription. Why would I pay for something I no longer want. I also was told that they have a recording of my voice agreeing to their terms and that they will play it for me. Then they went on with threatening me with a collection agency. So now I'm stuck with a subscription to Magazines I do not want. They also send me a bunch of Magazines I never ordered and it takes forever to finaly recieve the Magazines I actually did order.

If anyone know a way to get out of this please let me know. I only agreed to the subscription because I was told that I can cancel it at any time. Family Readers is a rip-off and never ever will I subscripe to Magazines again
