TWX Magazine
Twx magazine charges my bank account automatically and offers no way out. Help!

About a year ago, I received a magazine offer via email. At the time, it seemed like a pretty good deal. They offered me a couple magazine subscriptions at a pretty decent one-time low price. I was actually satisfied with my magazines. Some came weekly and some came monthly just as they were supposed to. I don't remember for sure if I read that they would automatically renew my subscription when it expired, but I assumed that would be the case... It usually is with deals like this over the internet. That's how they get you. It's usually the catch. I just fiqured I could cancel when ready.

Then, just a few days ago, I checked my online bank statement and found a $26.00 charge from TWX Magazine. I thought about it for a second and realized that it had been about year since signing up for the magazines. I knew exactly what it was. I decided that I would go with the charge and take one more year, but wanted to go ahead and cancel for automatic renewal.

I first tried the obvious and visited twxmagazine.com only to find that the website had absolutely no customer service link, contact iformation, or any info on the company. Curious, I then searched TWX Magazine and was actually not surprised to find a list of links stating TWX Magazine's fraudulant ways, complaint being one of them.

All claims seemed to suggest that TWX Magazine has a habit of automatically renewing subscriptions and not offering ways out. Some even claim that they were in fact able to cancel, yet they were charged afterwards with no way to prove cancellation. Now, sure it's only a $26.00 charge, but who's to say that it couldn't be $126.00 or worse. This issue is less about money and more about principle and security. Twx magazine should be stopped!!!
