Dishonesty

My vehicle was in need of repair, called insurance co to have car towed. Tow truck co contacted me to verify the place to take the vehicle. Upon talking with the tow driver, he assured me that the place I had chosen was very expensive and since I had work done there before I agreed that he could take it to their shop. I was contacted by the shop to let me know the cost and the mechanic assured me that the car should be ready the following day -13 Sept. Since I hadn't heard from anyone, I contacted the shop two days later and asked was the car ready. They told me "no" and that the part was being loaded from the truck to the parts store and they would pick it up as soon as the truck was unloaded. I then asked why didn't someone did not call me out of common courtesy to inform me that the car wouldn't be ready.

5 days later my car is still not fixed and they are still saying they need the part. If the car is to be towed again I would have to pay out of pocket. I just want the car fixed or tow it back home.
