Received a post card in the mail regarding Home, Auto Insurance. Decided to call to get a quote on both together to save money. The quoted amount from the guy really sounded great and should have saved me at least a couple hundred a year. And changing the home owners insurance isn't as easy as changing car insurance. But both were switched over after I ran to his office before he closed on a Saturda, I had to write a check as deposit to get both started that day. Then when the actual policy came in the mail it ended up not matching what he quoted. The guy that ran the American Family Office was a pure Bait and Switcher. I ended up calling my friend that handled our mortgage and when I explained the situation to her. She "quickly said that's Bait and Switch". Of course I had never heard of it before. You can't trust one. He's a jerk. But after receiving a bill for more money than he quoted. I ended up cancelling and found another company that same day. I won't be screwed again. Hope you learn from my big pain in the neck... Mistake.
