Baited by Hughes Net in India, Switched to ITOK in Orem, UT...
Hughes Net sold me on Satellite Internet, with downloads to be reset daily. From the onset of installation there have been problems with reseting of downloads. Call to Hughes Net went to India, to a person named Karan, who confirmed there were problems with the reset. He reset the service and while I was talking to him for 10 minutes half of the 100 mg reset was used up even though the computer wasn't active. He claimed he was referring me to another office, which sounded like "I Talk", but it was ITOK. I found it was in Orem, UT. When this company approaches the caller they claim to be a subsidiary of Hughes Net and charge for repairs of the caller's computer. High prices are quoted for repairs (even though our computers were recently serviced and cleaned). They want the caller to enter into a service agreement where every three months they will clean up your computer - $49.99. If there are more computers in the house they charge the same for the others. This is a scam, and attempt to charge the individual exorbitant rates to have satellite internet.
