I called to cancel their annual subscription; I had been subscribing for 3 years but wanted to quit. Their customer service rep told me I was calling in time to stop the new charges.

Nevertheless, the charge appeared on my credit card.

When I then worked through my credit card company, Stopzilla provided Visa with an invoice they had generated, showing a new order for the current year. I had not ordered since 2008; yet they generated their own internal re-order. Visa would not refuse the charge.

So, I called Stopzilla customer service again. They acknowledged that I had cancelled the order and "customer support in the U.S." would call me back about crediting my Visa.

A week passed; no phone call; no reverse credit.

I called customer service yet again. The rep told me, "Don't worry; someone from the U.S. Will call you." I told him i had already been waiting for a week and asked for a supervisor or a direct phone number to U.S. Customer service, but he would not give it to me, merely repeating, "Don't worry."

Another call to customer service had the same results: "Don't worry, someone will call."

No one has called and the charge on my credit card has not been reversed in over 5 weeks.
