UPS Does not to ship

A shipper shipped a 100 lb audiophile amplifiier $6500 item to Sunnyvale, CA and was due for delivery on April 11. After verifying with the tracking number and calling that it was on the truck for delivery. I waited all day, Well for some reason UPS decided not to put on the truck. A supervissor informed me to drive 40 miles one way to the facility to pick it up after hours. After getting their at about 8:30PM, they said come back tomarrow. Now at 10:15: PM UPS still has the item. I am going out of town and have told UPS never to ship anything to me forever.
