US Marketing Co
They claim to be a secret shopping company they make it seem like a try-out assignment but they want you to help them launder money

Miscellaneous

They advertised this position as a customer service position and made it sound good, like all the good scammers out there. They sent me a letter that explains this "position" and they enclosed a check for me to deposit. They call it secret shopping which I have heard of before. But whenever there is money involved, I get skeptical so I checked this company online, but I did not find anything concrete.

You are supposed to call the number so they can activate the check, upon activation, you are supposed to pull out most of the money and western union that money to a designated place. This is your "trial assignment" they said and if I did a good job, there would be more to come. So I figured I would go to the bank and ask them.

So, I asked the clerk at the bank about this company and he asked his bank manager about it. When they checked it out they told me that this is a SCAM, they are trying to launder money and use you as a pawn. They lied on the phone to me and I wanted to let everyone else know about it.

Don't fall for it, I almost did, luckily my bank was able to clear this up for me. Everything about it seemed legit, so if you receive the letter like I did, do the smart thing and toss it.
