I responded to an ad for secret shopper in Indeed. A lady called me and sent me a cheque and letter with instruction in the mail. Supposed to contact my Field Area Manager and activate payroll check. My doubts told me why do they pay me in advance for a sum of money when I have not even done the work! Nothing is so easy. On the letter it listed the breakdown for the money. Supposed to send funds to Western Union as one of the assignment $900 x 2. Mmm, I better check out the company, address, and also the advanced check issued to me. Could not find the company name in several websites, but the address does exist but a different company. Then, check out Solvay Finance America Inc. And guess, I got to this scambook website and confirm that this is a SCAM. Glad that I am not a victim - no monetary loss. The phone no. On the letter to contact the Field Area Manager is different from the no. That I asked her during her first call. She seems very anxious to make sure that I am still with her, calling me to let me know to check my mail for the letter.

Beware! The form that I filled, just name, address, and cell phone no. No experience info. Asked even when the 1st call received.

Beware! There is also a scam for secret shopper which I filled a form and return asking me for bank account no. For payroll deposit. I stopped right there.
