Buyer Sent Fake Emails Asking Western Union Payment for Table

I put a table on sale on Craigslist.com and found what I thought was a buyer. We were using PayPal for the transaction, and somewhere in the mix the buyer created fake emails from PayPal telling us that we needed to Western Union money to the PayPal pickup agent and we would be refunded at the end of the transaction. I finally got hold of PayPal and was told that no such transaction was needed and that the number from the buyer was fake too.
