Miscellaneous

I found a car on Craigslist for an excellent price. I emailed the seller asking what was wrong and he replied that he moved to Canada and trying to get this car registered in Canada was more trouble that it was worth. I told him that I wanted the car and he explained the he wanted to use Ebay's Buyer Protection Plan to complete the transaction. He would get an Ebay Rep to hold the money until I got the car. I received an invoice in my email stating that I won the car and please pay for it using the following instructions. I was to western union the money to a Peter Lawerence in Houston, TX then fax the information to Ebay and Ed Sumpter. Once I completed this I got an email from him saying he started the shipping process. Then he emailed me saying it would arrive at my home on Friday Aug 12. We waited the whole weekend and Monday before he answered my emails saying that he received and email from Ebay stating that I had stopped payment and to check my western union location to find out what was wrong. I went there and they put me on the phone with a western union rep and he told me that Peter Lawerence had picked up the money on Aug 5th the day after I sent it. I have been emailing Ed Sumpter ever since with no answer of course.
