I found a vehicle on craigslist and sent an e-mail to the seller. I received an e-mail back asking for my name, address, and phone number to pass on to ebay motors for payment and shipping. I provided the information. I received an e-mail from ebay motors with instructions on how to western union the money. My wife sent a $1500 deposit and I recieved an e-mail from ebay motors that they would contact the seller to start the shipping process. I then received another e-mail from ebay motors stating the the seller put the shipment on hold pending our paying the other $1500. The same day we sent the money via western union. I have not receive any correspondance from either party since. I tried contacting ebays customer service using the online chat and when I gace them the invoice number the chat was discontinued.
