Contracted Verizon HOTSPOT on recommendation of Verizon for trip to Italy 5/12 - 6/1. Signed up for additional email capacity for $100 for 70MB. Turned on HOTSPOT on 5/14. Immediately got a warning of overage usage for $50 on 5/15. Called Verizon USA and told not to worry, no usage showing. Two days later got a warning for $2200 overage. Called again - told same thing. Don't worry. Have Verizon reference number of call and witnesses. Got back on 6/2. Tried using my phone and transfered to financial.informed of total overage charges on $4786 USD's. Refusing to pay. Forced to change to AT&T.ingoing dispute. Server is AOL. Requesting usage report which shows 13MB total usage. Only answered email - no voluntary downloads. Contacted Verizon executive offices. Offered to credit acct 50%. Then retracted offer when I refused to pay and charges
