This did not happen on above dateIt happened in early 80's. My boys and I were so poor that we couldn't go anywhere, so we stayed home ALL the time. I ALWAYS believed that reading was important for them to learn (young boys) so we all picked out a subscription that would come monthly to have family reading together and they would have something to look forward to. WELL!!! One day I called information for the lady's # that supposedly won - I remember like it happened yest!!! I even remember the pic. Of her! I told the 411 (don't remember if we dialed 411 back then! Showing my age!) = I told her I wanted to call that lady that 'won' to see if she really did win!? SHE WANTED TO KNOW TOO! It was in next state so she got supervisor to help. When super. Got on, she was told the story-she was curious about winners too! Get this!!! She got supervisor of # info in n. Y = she was also interested in finding out if there was really winners!?! All of us on 3 way conversation, the n. Y phone info-supervisor!!! Who knows the ropes=did total search for this *winner* in that part of n.Y. THAT WOMAN =NEVER The thing is-yes it would have been nice to win at something sometime, BUT, I was just bored and curious! Well back to subject&they got me the =direct
