I was working in yard two men in a sign wrapped van pulled up, one said, “He was located out of Cleveland TN and had deliveries in the neighborhood and had some extra meat to sell at a good price.” He and his partner then began pulling meat out of the truck and each time I ask the cost he continued talking and opening more boxes of meat.
His claim of how good the meat was so WRONG, the meat was tough and the steaks had more gristle than meat. One of the boxes of meat had a false bottom with only six pieces of meat inside.
I am not the kind of person who generally gets taken in by scams and afterward I was so embarrassed that I had been that gullible however I do not want others to fall prey to the same scam.
