Three of four copiers broken, clueless employee in Falls Church

FedEx Kinko's store 1337, Falls Church, VA, 3:30 PM, November 2.

1. This "store" has four black-and-white photocopiers. Three of them are out of service today.

2. The fourth one went out of service while I was waiting. It had three customers crowded around it, opening and closing doors and slamming the top down hard. A FedEx/Kinko's employee standing at one of the broken machines did not look up or notice the problem with the machine 4 feet away from him, despite the noise and discussion. He was totally clueless. He was so unresponsive that I concluded he did not work for FedEx. After more delay, I got up close to him and verified he was wearing a FedEx shirt. I walked up and said to him, "Did you notice the folks are having problems with that machine?" He looked up as if in a daze, walked over and assisted them.

Due to the long wait for a black-and-white copier, I used a color machine, because the drive to Office Max/Staples was in rush hour traffic.

I drove home and sold my remaining FedEx stock.
