I went to the Lincolnwood Mall location for an eye exam (with appointment) and fitting for RGP contact lenses on March 13. I paid for the lenses at the visit, and was told they would be in the store within 5-7 days.

I had an errand at the mall on 3/18, so I stopped by to find out what the status was. I was told that the lenses had not even been ordered yet because "corporate had to approve the order" before it could be placed with the manufacturer. The employee refused to give me an outlook for when the lenses would be ordered. No explanation was offered as to why this procedure was not explained to me when I was in the store; no communication was attempted with me to explain the delay; and no apology was offered when I was in the store, clearly very upset. Absolutely unacceptable customer service.
