Heater Core Replacement

I know you have heard it before, but to have a heater core buried under the dash that will cost me $850.00 to replace the $50.00 part just does not make since! I hope the engineers and management that decided to do this are not working for
Ford anymore!!!
This is a 1997 Expedition and the only way to do this is to remove the dash, interior trim, steering wheel, ect., ect., ect.
Please take the consumer to mind when you design others.
