What's Going On? - Care credit provide

I signed up for a Care Credit Card when I got hearing aids. Being on a pension I could not afford the whole amount in cash so I put $3000 on the card. The agent at the hearing aid clinic told me if I paid $167 on the account (way over the minimum) it would be paid off with no interest. That's what I've been doing. I called Care Credit today today to find out the exact final payment date on my "no interest" 18 mo loan and they said I'd have to pay it off in 12 months not the 18 months. She told me I'd have to start paying $250 a month to pay it off. I can't afford that and even if you do the math it still wouldn't be paid off. I've seen from complaints online this a typical tactic of theirs. Then when you don't pay it off they charge 25% interest on the whole debt. Help!!!
