Unable to Access or Contact

I purchased a trial membership from Company called “ Downloadbound.com” on June 1st trial/evaluate, 3day for $1.99. They were kind enough to send me a user ID and Pass word by E-mail, once they received my credit card #. Tried to sign on to their web sight, several times, unsuccessfully. With no access to sign on, I clicked on their “Tech support.” Message said, have to sign on before you can access “Tech Help.” (Which came first, CHICKEN or the EGG?). There is no phone # or e-mail to contact them directly, or even to cancel the order.

I contacted credit card company. They advised me to contact the above software company, as credit company have it “software order.net”, issued me a phone#. As soon as you dial, message says ‘Exiting system, Goodbye”.

You cannot contact them by phone, e-mail or online before signing on. Once they charged your credit card, options are limited. They may not be “CROOKED”, but I smell “RAT.” Luckily I was charged only $8.87 (for the $1.99 service. Not too bad for 1 minute of computer work, Even just 10 people a day, it’s a great return for something I did not even to sign on. Small price to pay, for big lesson learned.
