Smokelessdirect
Fraudulant sales tactics

Miscellaneous

I as many others, I suspect, was duped into the misleading trial offer for the electronic cigarette by this company. I hadn't even had possession of the unit for 7 days when an additional $99 dollar charge was made to my credit card.

They do a pretty good job of sneaking that by the unwitting consumer that makes the mistake of signing up for this offer. The details of the offer need to be plainly visible to the reader, not tucked away in an unscrupulous manner.

I offered to return the unit, however it appears I will have to allow the charge to stand without any recourse. I don't want this to affect my credit ratings over $99. Cancelled any future dealings with them. Fortunately for me, as I was unaware of the auto enrollment in a monthly subscription.

This is a real slippery bunch of folks. Do not be tricked into any dealings them. It seems they must be violating some law with regard legal, if not ethical advertising accepted practices.
