Alloon refinance - Mortgage Refinance

In june we started a refinance with chase cuz our balloon was maturing in sept. 2010. Went thru months of back and forth, resubmitting, reapplying and waiting for a closing. We were told everything will be fine. Beginning of nov. 2010 we were told chase could do nothing for us. We contacted a lawyer who contacted chase and were told we are now in default... We have good credit and have never been late on our payment. We are paying customers who deserve more than this. We are afraid we will loose our home!!! Cannot believe we honest customers have been treated this way. It is not rite!
