I attempted to purchase a voucher from Groupon for a 6 week boot camp offer. I received a reply stating there had been a problem with Groupon taking payment from my card and therefore i needed to reorder. This i did and received a voucher. A day later i received a voucher following on from my first attempt when i was told that there was a problem with payment. When i checked my bank account yes you have guessed it two lots of payments had been taken from my account, there obviously had not been a problem with the first payment. I am wondering if this was genuine or just a way of Groupon receiving two orders. I have tried calling there customer service number but the message states the phone lines are not operational unitl mid Jan. 11 and i have sent 5 emails, i received 3 automated responses stating my emails have been received but no other contact. It appears some people purchasing vouchers have managed to get through via the telephone and i would appreciate a number i could use and acutally speak to someone so i can request a refund for one of my vouchers. I have contacted the company providing the boot camp and the offer is legitimate i.E. The discount offered does apply and i have been able to book.
