Misleading Catalog

I purchased a weekend bag from 31 Gifts.com and was surprised to see it did not come with a detachable shoulder strap as advertised in the catalog. I contacted the company was told that the catalog was reprinted due to other customers having similar issues but there was nothing she could do to help as there were codes on the page that showed the strap as an option to purchase. The codes were tiny and there was no code key on the page to show what those characters related to. I then e-mailed the company and was told the same thing.

Both parties acknowledged the misleading description but the outcome was the same: I would have to purchase a shoulder strap for an additional fee plus shipping. I think this is ridiculous considering the bag and shipping is close to $100, more with the shoulder strap "option." This company has nice merchandise but is sorely lacking in customer support when something goes wrong. Be cautious when ordering.
