Total Incompetance

I purchased a heater on 11/15/10, at the time of purchase I wrote a check for the full amount. It was installed a couple of weeks later with what i was told would be a full propane tank. The tank was not full at the time of delivery however they did top it off a couple of days later. I was charged for the top off. Since they did not put the complete address on the billing we did not recieve our first bill until March and it was for 1590.88. The bill included the cost of the heater for which I had already paid 1392.58, a top off of the fuel tank which was supposed to be full upon delivery and late charges. I went to the dealership in Rockledge, Fl, with a copy of my original check showing their endorcement on the back which proved that they had recieved it and deposited it. The woman i spoke with made a copy of the check and told me that their records did not show that the check had been credited to my account. She assured me that the problem would be addressed and that she would remove the late charges.

Fast foreward to around March 30 when I recieved a call from a collector. I explained the situation to her. Fast foreward again to April 2nd when I recieved another bill for 1655.86 which included all the previous charges plus more late charges. Now I'm not a difficult person to deal with, but I have proven to you that I wrote you a check for 1392.58, you deposited my check for 1392.58 and you did not credit my account accordingly. I don't care what you did with the money, that's your problem, but I want the full amount credited to my account, I will not pay the late fees. I will not pay for a top off of the fuel tank which should have been full when it was delivered, and I will not pay you another dime until I recieve a corrected invoice for the correct amount. If it were possible I would insist that you just return my money and get this damn heater out on my home, but I already know you can't find the money.
