They Took my IRA or Pension Plan

I was fired in March not sure of the date but it was 2009. They never sent me a notice that I had to cash in my IRA or Pension PLan and sent me a letter in 2010 that they were keeping it because I didn't respond within that year. This is stealing my money all of my money went into this fund. Just because they are a state operation doesn't give them the right to steal my money. There is over 1,000$ dollars in it and it is all mine. They wouldn't even let me know who to contact to get my money back. All kinds of unethical things went on there. I worked in the new, just stating up inpatient. The social workers were allowed to be in charge over my DON who had a Masters degree and was a great consultant. MY DON quit because they were so hard to deal with and it was taking away from her family. Then they hired this vindictive DON who allowed lvns by themselves to run the unit at night because all these RN's quit due to her mean nature and unethical practices. I believe this goes against all the rules of a inpatient psychiatric unit. This horrible DON quit, it was just a matter of time with her mean nature and unethical practices. I new my time was comming up, I called in sick one morning I had stomach flu and had tryed to go to work but once I got ther I realized how sick I was. Night and day witnessed (nurses heard my call) my call and Nicole said go ahead and take off. The other nurses were so frightened of her they didn't make statements but I think they would now. Nicole said I never called in and abandon my post. I was called about 10:00 that morning and fired by the head of the inpatient a social worker I wrote a letter to. This is stealing right out of my pocket and I demand my money back. I intend on getting on TV and making these complaints. Ellen Cozart
