Over Charged

I put my debit card in the gas pump and it charged me 75.00 dollars but I only pumped 58.40. I talked to Chris the day it happened he said the pumps were set up to authroize 75.00 and that it would credit your card back if you did pump that much to wait a couple days and it would be back on my card. Well on the 14th it still wasn't credited so I went to the store with my recepit and my bank statements and talked to Tami and she gave the main office phone number casue the pumps are ran by Shell. So I came home and called the they said to take it up with my bank. So I filed it with my bank but they couldn't do and fruad charges because I actually did the tranaction and nothing showed that I only got 58.40 in gas their records show it charged for the 75.00. So I call the main office back and they still say there isn't anything they can do and I think its wrong for them to have pumps set up to charge your card for a amount before you pump your gas..
