I order from this place of business several times before and I actually enjoy the pizza and normaly the service too. Today on March 19 around 11:35 am. I tried to order pizza's from this specific location and received customer service that astounded me, by phone. After I order the food that totaled 38 dollars and some change, I hung up. I was then called back and informed by an employee, whom I was later informed was Alex, that they could not deliver to my place of residence and that I would have to meet the delivery guy at the entrance. I asked why? He said "it is raining and it had something do with not messing up the tires." I said that doesn't sound right. I've ordered from you guys before and I have never had a problem with any delivery guy dropping off an order to my home. I asked "would you mind sending with your delivery guy a policy or regulations showing me where it states that you guys don’t fully deliver to my area and where it states that a person has to walk and meet you at the entrance to pick up an order." Alex stated to me " do you want the pizza or not?" I stated "do you want my business or not, that was rude." My initial reaction was to hang up so I did, but in doing so it did not resolve my problem.

I called back and asked to speak with a manager. I was informed by "Alex" the same guy who took my order and called back, that the manger was not in. I said a place of business should have a manager or a supervisor in at all times. That does not sound right. I said I would like to speak to a manager please. Then he proceeded to put someone on the phone at this point I was highly upset about the rude service by phone and the under minding of my intelligence. I asked the employee, whom I was now on the phone with, was he the manager he said "yes." I said that’s odd your employee informed me that the manager was not in. I asked is this a chain or franchise. He told me "this is my business." I asked again is this a chain or franchise? He said "there are tons of Mountain Mikes Pizza places that are privately owned." I said do you privately own this one he said "this is my privately owned business." I asked for his name he then informed me his name was Victor and then I asked who was the employee that took my order he said Alex. I asked what was his last name he said "I don’t have to give that to you." I said if this is your privately owned business then it should not be a problem. He then said "we don’t deliver to your area it's the rule." I said well you guys were going to deliver I would just have walk somewhere and meet you. I stated read to me in your policy where it states that.

I have ordered from this place of business multiple times and have never had a problem with delivery service to my door. It makes no sense to have something delivered, pay for a service and then have to walk to a corner to meet a delivery person. He pulls up my record of delivery service and says you have only ordered twice from us. I said actually my number recently changed and I have order several times from you guys at least 2 times a month for the past 3 to 4 months and I recently corrected my name the last time I ordered which was earlier this month or late last month because you had it wrong in your system. My old number is... He informed me that I was being rude. I said no, I am an upset customer who was given horrible service and I am looking for answers and for being a manager and or owner of a business your being very unprofessional. I stated I don’t even believe that you are a manager or business owner. What is the address? He gives me the address and I stated to him I will never order or give my money to this business in exchange for goods again and I hung up the phone. My issue is, the community I live in is not completely gated. There is actually an entrance. No key code permission or anything of the nature is needed to get in. I live on the main street, which is a straight shot from the street where the delivery person would turn in upon entrance. Where I live is a predominately privately owned community with a homeowner association. I am 5 months pregnant with a total of 5 children in my care, at the time. I provide childcare. To be told to walk to an entrance, in the rain, with five kids in my care because I would never leave them unattended or with anyone other than me, completely defeats the purpose of delivery.

This business would be better off saying and providing written policies stating we do not deliver we only do pick up for your area. Not to mention both male individuals were rude, unproffesinal, completely avoided and even lied to me with answers to questions I had for them. They did not properly tend to my complaint or concerns.instead, I was challenged as I asked valid questions they had no solid answers for and rude service was continued. I hope that this compliant does not go unnoticed and is properly handle with the up most care. I have spent my hard earned money there multiple times in the past and refuse to be treated in such a way. If the stigma is, that they feel I live in a not so friendly community that is fine, state that have a policy written. It is people like me who try to make my community a better place to live. I have yet had a problem with where I live, opperate and run my place of business. I have lived here for over a year and now call this community home.
