BEWARE when using Care Credit for Dental services. The personnel are rude, ruthless and uncaring; they show bad, rather, poor PR; argue and shout to you on the telephone. All this while waiting 15 minutes before someone comes on.

My encounter with Sammy, so-called supervisor, was horrible. He was rude and argumentative, and showed absolutely no respect for customers.

My husband was $1 short in making a payment to my account in 2009. The minute he realized his mistake, he made an EXTRA $1 payment to his account the VERY NEXT WEEK.

Care Credit never called us until about A MONTH LATER to tell us they were charging us $39 interest on the late $1 sent. We refused, called that interest rate usurious, and asked to speak to the supervisor. The supervisor never came on the phone but told his underling to remove that charge.

HOWEVER, Care Credit reported my account to the Credit Bureaus as delinquent, and my credit dropped a whole 200 points! All that was done without my knowledge, and had we not applied for a loan when we bought a new car in June I'd never have known.

Care Credit refuses to rectify the problem, stating that WE must take measures to correct the problem with the Credit Bureaus!
