Horrible collectors - collection agency

I had an account with Altel before they switched to Verizon. Within the first month I was receiveing bills stating that I was using minutes that I knew I could not have used (1500 mins in one week). I knew that it was untrue because I am a texter, and had unlimited text. Plus I am at work all day and could not have possibly stayed on the phone that much in one week. Well, I ended my contract with Verizon and they sent me a bill for $902!! I disputed and disputed, sent letters after letters, made phone calls after phone calls. Then finally they sent me to the CBE Group. The calls, sometimes 3 a day, everyday even on Saturdays. I was refusing to give my bank account info to them and requested a bill. That infuriated them and then they proceeded to tell me that they could not send me a bill, because they did not have any to send. I then asked to speak to a manager, Brooke, and she proceedes to tell me the very same thing. Well, I simply said give me your address and I will send you what I can when I can. That very same day, I received a bill in my mailbox from them. HA! The bill had a completly different address on it than the one manager Brooke gave me. So the next time they called, today, a lady by the name of Sara was on the other end. I just unloaded on her. All the lies, all the rude people that have been calling me over and over, and something different happened. She let me get everything off my chest. She approached me with an agreement and a smaller settlement and we worked it out so I can get this crap off my credit. I would like to commend, Sara, on her professionalism and curtious manner. She knew what she was talking about and new the manner to go about things. The big wigs of CBE Group should promote her and let her lead a class on just treating people with a little human disencey.
