I purchased a year subscription to this online nanny, baby/animal sitter online company. After a few days they cancelled my subscription without informating me. The only way I found out was that I tried to sign in and it wouldn't let me anymore. I actually had to call them to inquire about my subscription.

The person on the phone put me on hold for 15 minutes only to come back and say, I'm sorry you violated our terms of agreement and we cancelled you. I was shocked and said, what did I do? I've only been signed up for a few days? His answer, I'm sorry that is private and we cannot tell you. I can get a manager to call you back in 1-2 days to discuss. I was in shock and sleep deprived as I have a newborn son. So I said FINE and hung up.

I called back after i read their terms of agreement and couldnt fathom what I did "wrong". I asked to speak to a manager. She basically said, we can cancel you at any time for any reason or so no reason. It felt like they were basically saying "tough luck" and did not resolve any of my questions.

It just did not make any sense whatsoever. I cannot think of anything that I did to be harshly denied use of their services and for them not to even tell me why is very upsetting. It felt like I was personally attacked and not even had the courtesy to find out why or remedy the situation.

They have lost my business and anyone that I know. I will post this review any place I can think of so advise other consumers the lack of care, CARE.com has for their customers.
