I purchased purchased a hp TouchSmart 600t desk top PC from hp website on 8/10 and received after 9/10. Less than 3 months the hard drive failed. Two options were given by the company. I chose to change the hard drive rather than sending in the entire unit. The hard drive was changed with no problems, but when attempting to do a recovery with the recovery CDs that hp sent the representative that was assisting was unable to help recover program. None of the 8 CDs sent worked. I was told I would be contacted with help, but never was regarding getting the PC running again. The hp customer service is very poor. The case manager (Mario) was rude, unconcerned, and talked to me as if I was a child. He was only concerned with the return of the defective hard drive. I have written the president of the company and spoken with executive personnel and I was told it is nothing can be done. If hp would value their customers like they value the return of their defective products the service would be EXCELLENT. I think the company needs to be exposed for such poor customer service.
