Macy's order gift

I ordered a Area Rug from macy.com last November, I did not receive the Rug I ordered. I sent it back per their instructions, instead of making a credit to my account they send me a gift card, I have ask them to credit my account. I have talked to many Macys Customer Service people, yet no one can get the credit to may account. I am surprised at the level of Customer Service offered.
