Don't Purchase AE Gift Cards

I recently purchased three AE gift cards in the amounts of $100, $100, and $50 for my mom and dad's birthday anniversary. The $50 card, wouldn't work. When I contacted AE, an individual stated the card had never been activated (wrong). As a result, I gave them the number on the card, the seca copy of the front security code and mailed a copy of the receipt. On 28 Feb AE called for a copy of back/front of the card. Don't buy gift cards from them!!!
