Wednesday evening June 29 I returned home only to find that I had no home phone service. I contacted repair who said after "checking my line it appeeared to benon the outside and the earliest a repair tech would be July 5th!" July 5th I recieve a call on the phone number provided in the morning
to "confirm my slot 4pm-8pm and the 85.00 chage that would be billed, if it was inside. I leave my job @ 3:45pm, and call just to make sure repair is still coming, only to advised the "repair ticket was closed @ 10:56am because the repair tech said he repaired the jumper that was broken on one side!" Well Isure want to know where he repaired that because my condo fence is padlocked and can not be entered unless I do! The repair person on the line @ 5:30 takes this all down and apologizes and promises to send this to and "Escalation Manager who will cal me back in 30 minutes." An hour goes by, no call. So I call back after 22 minutes on hold the next repair lady said she will get a Customer Service Manager on the phone, on hold another 23 minutes, get a Manager who ask did some transfer to her. COLD TRANSFER, no info given, but nonethless the "manager" is as helpful as she can be, but she can't authorize anything. Call repair techs who still are still "out until eight and they can't come back, nor can she do anything. Will make sure the Manager gets the Escalation ticket in the morning and I "should get a call between 8am-10am in the morning... Working on day seven with NO home service, and no "guarantees" Well I work for a Fortune 500 company and we sevice 13 states and this is by far the worst service and I have ATT in Virginia and now in TN, AND I am so glad I don't have small chiildren or an elderly parent that may need emergency services. I don't care about the "credit" that may be on my next bill, but once my service is restored. Trust and know that ATT will not get another dime of my money. Just unacceptable!
