Customer service

Miscellaneous

My visit to the target store in Tinley Park, IL turned into more that the 5 minutes I estimated while purchasing a few items. I got into the express line & the cashier had her light off, so I assumed she was close, so I walked past her small station & went around to the cashier that had her light on to pay for my items. The cashier with the light off started taking customers & so I asked, " are you open" & she was like no. I said ok that what I thought since you don't have your light on, but you are taking customers behind me. To make a long story short. The thing that gets to me, is she was going back & forward with me & then said, "if you have a problem with it you can complain at customer service & my name is Mary Ann. I don't like complaining on people, because I don't like getting anyone in trouble but this lady had the nerve like I was wrong. When you are in line, cashiers shouldn't take people behind you & let you stand in line waiting. Isn't that why it call a express line, so you can get in & out & not be inconvenience. To sum this up (I would like to write more), the manager Skyy was nice & apologetic but Mary Ann is set in her old ways. Date-2/16/10 @ 5:20pm appr. I just wanted to get in & out of the store.
