Magazine Scam - $980 for mags. Through 2017. I'm 74 - I'll be dead before then

I have no idea how these people got my credit card number, unless it was referred from another scam wherein a solicitor offered me a trial for $9.95 for herbal stuff and a free CD. When that trial showed up on my credit card, it turned into hundreds of dollars and I started receiving various "snake oil, smoke and mirrors" - immediately canceled and returned merchandise.

THEN I found a $55.50 charge to Diamond Enterprises on my credit card. My CC company had already called about the other companies that were charging, closed my account and are investigating the fraud.

BUT Diamond claims I ordered all kinds of men's magazines, that will continue until 2017. I am 74, and very ill - no chance of living that long. Why would I order magazines designed for young men, at a cost of nearly $1000.00???

After numerous phone calls and written correspondence, they continue to claim this is a legitimate order and are now threatening to send the account to collection and "ruin my credit" or worse.

As identifiable magazines arrive, my wife calls them directly to cancel the orders. Some are willing to do so directly with our phone call, others insist that the ordering agency must cancel. However, the magazines don't seem to have the correct name and number of the "ordering agency - Diamond" —

This company apparently preys on the elderly infirm -and must be stopped.
