HOM Holstead Jewelers
Consumer Report

Miscellaneous

This company is a total scam. We fell for its ploy of free rings... No obligation; no costs. Then the following month, additional jewelry began to arrive charged to our credit card. We immediately called to cancel the order or any future orders. They seemed obliging with cancellation numbers etc. However, the operator asked if we were interested in magazines? We adamently said, "No!" The following two months we began receiving magazines we never ordered. The cost of the subscriptions began appearing on our credit card bills. On the bill itself, the referenced phone number to call was Holstead Jewelers who immediately referred us to another number; the operator was automated, unable to help us. We have had to cancel the credit card because of the scam. Also, the magazines, when notified, said they were unable to cancel the subcription. We would have to contact the "agency" who made the order. Buyer Beware!!!
