Air filter and tires for life

I feel we were lied to about TIRES FOR LIFE - I had helped a friend purchase a 2006 Ford 150, we were told that there we had tires for life, never told it was only for the thread... Well there was a nail embedded in the tire—was there probably when we bought the truck&then they told us that we needed a air filter&and told us it would be $50 some dollars for an air filter—NO WAY! And if we go to somewhere else to buy it will cause our free oil changes to stop... I have bought 3 trucks from rusty Eck—NEVER again I am going to explaint this to Mel Hamilton—nothing he can do —but at least maybe they won't try to cheat a person that has bought 3 trucks from them
