The following correspondence are self explanatory: rnrnrnAmount involved White Emerson Speaker Phone Model EM2646 $24.13. Exchanged for another one on 7th September. Thernfollowing correspondence will tell the story: rnSara Pavanrn1st November 3.43 AMrn - rnrnrnrnYesterday (28th October) the Speaker Phone went dead. They should not sell such bad products and cheating people by saying wrong things about the batteries and the adaptor in writing in their leaflet. RnrnWe in Medicine Hat want more people to come and do business. RnrnWhen I telephoned with their Speaker Phone Ms/Mrs Sharoll was rude to me as if she owns Medicine Hat. A manager should be polite and tactful. If she had recorded the call she should give it to you the recording and you could judge. RnrnI did exchange the phone on 7th September but that is dead since yesterday and I have disconnected it. It is useless exchanging it as the problems are going to be the same. They should not sell this phone. RnrnThey have to supply me with a different make of phone with port to fix an adopter as advertised by them in their flyer. Coverage: The Plan provides for the replacement of the covered product which is found to be defective, through the delivery of a store credit to the customer equal to the original purchase price, inclusive of taxes. Upon the issuance of a store credit or exchange, this plan shall be terminated. Rnrn2. Term: rnrnThe Plan coverage commences on the original purchase date and expires two (2) years from the original purchase date. Upon the issuance of a store credit or exchange, this plan shall be terminated. Rnrn. 2- Year Product Protection Plan rnrn3. Defects Covered: rnrnThe Plan covers manufacturer's defects in material and workmanship which occur during the term of The Plan as a result of normal operation and use of the product. 4. Activating Plan/Claims: rnrnOn the breakdown or failure of a covered product, the customer may activate The Plan as follows: rnrnBring the defective product and original sales invoice to the same location in which the product was purchased. Upon receipt and review of the defective product & original receipt/invoice plus original packaging, manuals & accessories, XS Cargo shall issue rnrna store credit to the customer in the amount of the full original purchase price paid by the customer for the defective product. It lacks power. However I exchanged for another Speaker Phome same White Model Emerson Model EM2646 which also went dead on 28th October. Rn rn I can scan and send you the bill and their leaflet giving not very correct rn information about the speaker phone. Rn rn In their leaflet they say we have to install 3 AAA batteries. It will not rn take these batteries but only take 3 AA batteries. First flop. Rn rn In their leaflet they also say "connect the 9V adapter to the DC jack of the rn unit". There is no DC jack or port to connect the adapter which I am rn prepared to buy as an extra item but no port to connect. Second flop. Rn rn This made in China unit had made blunders in the above descriptions. If I rn was able to read the leaflet before I opened the box I would have not bought rn this speaker phone. I got cheated and misled. These phones should not be rn sold. Rn rn I phoned them over six times because the ear piece could not be made more rn louder, the LCD is very faint and cannot see the numbers or adjust the rn contrast, certain dialing numbers cannot be punched properly and had to be rn repeated again and again to dial a number.
