Modification

Now Bof A is willing to work with me on modification. Now I work less hours and feel I may be denied. Do they ever knock down the principal to help borrowers stay in their homes?
How can I keep my home.
B of A took over for a criminal company so I understand its all new. They want to charge and impound fee which I don't think is fair add 300.00 to my payment.
I have owned my home for 15 years. Not a short term investment.
So frustrated.
