I purchased a HP notbook laptop computer and a year later it went out. I was in the middle of school and had to buy a new computer to finish. I called HP after i had finished and was told that my warranty was out. I explained that there was an OFFICIAL recall on the part that caused the computer to crash and why it had taken me so long to contact them but was told that i would have to pay 345.00 dollars to fix the part that they had the RECALL on because my waranty was out. His is so ridiculous that a company would issue a recall but you have to have a warranty for it to be upheld. HP is not a computer any student wants to have especially if your classes are online. The notebooks are likely to crash at any moment and HP will go out of their way to make this process as long and painful as possible until you give up. Do not purchase from them if you value your education and future
